Horse Scrapbook Lay-out

I have also been busy trying to keep up with some scrapbooking. I am pretty far behind at this point but once I get going on a theme, it's pretty fun. Here I included a home-made clay seal with a horseshoe (earring), some metal, jewels, and laser cut photo corners (some are cut up for smaller pieces). The paper in the right bottom corner is a textured scrap piece of wallpaper that I painted to look like the blanket on the horse.

Hi! I love all the handmade touches in your work -- beautiful! I totally understand what you mean about trying to find time to create with small kids on the loose. But you gotta stay sane, right?! I am so far behind on scrapbooking that I have totally given up on getting caught up, so I changed my philosophy on the whole process. Have you ever read "Scrapbooking the Big Picture" by Stacy Julian? That seriously changed my scrapping life! Anyhoo, I'm happy to meet you, and I'll be coming back often to check out your beautiful work!

Oooooo I love the finished version--I remember when I first saw it a couple of weeks ago--it looks so different now. I love what you did--especially with that worn, shabby patterned paper--nice!

What a fabulous and unique layout! I so love it! I get how you feel squeezing in mommy scrapbook time with kids all around. I think kids hang out at my house on purpose just so I can't scrapbook! So glad to meet, your work is really beautiful! Have a wonderful day!!!
