Paper Storage Box

I am very excited, I finally painted and stamped this box. I have been using it for over a year for my scrapbooking paper and now it is finally as pretty as the paper inside it. I used K&Co. paper for the front strips and the top then used some great gemmed 3-D butterflies. The center of the flower is an old button...(I cut the back off). The key is a sticker I put on thick foam paper and cut around it for dimension.

Shrinky Dink Charms

I love my kids shrinky dink machine so when I saw an example of tiny charms, I really wanted to make my own version. They are inked with alcohol inks, stamped and hole punched before shrinking. Here is one charm in the corner of this page.
An example to how small they are. Cute!!!

I love this quote. It came to me when I was about to scrapbook this picture. Perfect timing.

Paper Clips

I saw altered paper clips on a fellow blogger and just had to try it. These are jumbo size clips with wood, chipboard or foam shapes glued to both sides. I added ribbons, buttons or stamping. Thanks for the inspiration. These will make great little gifts inside cards.

Snowman Tag

After stamping snowflakes, I ran the tag over wet ink (sprayed with water) on craft paper. The stamped snowman then has some silver glitter and a metal snowflake.

I used glitter snow and diamond dust on the bottom left. The snowflakes have utee. The right tag is just a stamped image of the snowflakes but has diamond dust on the flakes and the snowman.
So here in Maine we are still getting snowstorms and cold temps. So here is a project I learned from the Tim Holtz blog. http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/12_tags_of_christmas_tag_2/index.html This is the link to his directions for making this great tag. Or go to my Tim Holtz link and click on tag #2 in the 12 tags of Christmas.

MiniBooks

This is another mini paperbag book. This one is for my nephew to keep his memories of Nana and Papa's house. Fishing, ice fishing, walks kayaking, boating and playing. This one has fabric, string, acrylic paint and copper brads. A little more of a worn masculine look compared to the girls (previous post).

Scrapbooking mini style is really fun!!

I saw an example of a tag like
this in a magazine using the daisy
K & Co. papers. I loved it and had to make a couple for the girls minibooks.

Paper Bag MiniBooks

These are the little boxes I found, just the perfect size to hold my paperbag minibooks.
One for each of my daughters to hold those special memories from their nana and papa's log cabin on the lake.
The front of this one has some beading for the word "fun". I sewed the bags together for a strong binding then punched holes for the ribbons.
I love the paper bags because you can sneak in so many pictures and journaling for some great pull-out surprises.
Some painting here with letter templates. I started these books 2 Christmases ago and really need to finish preparing the inside for pictures and send them off to nana and papa's house.
